I'm writing a new software for image framing and titling, I do this because I'm so lazy to do framing & titling in PS. But in other hand, I really want those neat, fancy frames and titles on my photos like `zetab or *cezars have on their images. I really envy them about their PS ability...

A preliminary alpha version of the software is finished by now, I've uploaded one sample of its result, see butterfly :: upside down. I need input from you guys, tell me what you think about the frame and title.. or maybe drop me some ideas about my software..

The software functionality is still limited by now, just resampling, adding antialiased title, and adding frame. But I plan to add more features like sharpen, image optimization, soften, selectable border type, more effects on title text etc. Well my coding mood is now back, I guess

I've finished the alpha version
It has just few functions now, like:

- Image Resampling (using selectable Lanczos, Mitchell, Spline, Triangle algorithm)
- Image Optimize, to enhance the image
- Contrast Enhancement
- Framing
- Antialiased Title & Copyright with optional blur effect and selectable position.
- Sharpen
- Open JPEG & BMP formats
- Save to JPEG format

Update: August 23, 2004
I've finished the alpha I version

Additional functions:
- Show & Preserve EXIF data
- Selectable Color Effects (Sepia, Grayscale)
- Sharpen method will now use Unsharp Mask algorithm instead of 3x3 matrix convolution. Reason : 3x3 matrix convolution produces noticeable HALO Effect quickly, and it is a noise amplifier too


Update: August 30, 2004

- Sepia & grayscale process now use better grayscaling algorithm, I think.
- I decide to drop vector border functionality for awhile, I cant get it right along with title.

I plan to add some more functions like

- Level Adjustment
- Colour Correction
- Selectable border type (I plan to add bitmap borders instead of vector borders, thanks to *nasigoreng)
- Selectable tone


Update: September 08, 2004

- Colour Correction is now available
- User Interface enhancement (but it still s*ck)
- Better anti aliasing technique for title text, before I was just blur it
- Rotate picture is now available.
- Some minor bugs were fixed.

For Level adjustment, I still have no idea how to do it, have to read more on the web.. maybe if you know, just note me, thanks.

NAME needed
I need a name for my software, for now I just call it InstantFrame. Also need a nifty icon & 'About box' picture.
